J. Michaels Books has been selling books in downtown Eugene since the summer of 1975. Although we are presently located in Eugene’s historic Quackenbush building, our most stalwart customers may remember shopping at one of our two previous downtown locations – in the early days on the corner of 7^th and Olive, and later on the 300 block of East 11^th.  Our neighbors have changed, and our interests and expertise have refined and broadened over the last forty years, but our mission has remained the same:   To offer our customers a hand-picked and compelling general selection of new, used and antiquarian books that is not available elsewhere. In addition, we offer an ever-changing and unique array of desirable sale books in all fields culled from a variety of sources that appeals to the most discriminating buyer.
