Last Day on Mars is the beginning of the adventure of a lifetime– or, taking into account stasis pods, space travel, and the 4th dimension, several earth lifetimes. It is great sci fi: the perfect mix of mind-expanding and page turning, filled with doom and hope. I’m delighted to recommend this to readers who enjoy exciting books with characters they’ll want to be friends with, and I can’t wait to find out what happens next! [Ages 9+]
