The evening will feature music, entertainment, performances, skits, and readings by Seattle7Writers and the band The Rejections (and Trailing Spouses).
7 p.m. – The Rejections (and Trailing Spouses) concert
7:30 p.m. – MCs kick off Seattle7Writers variety show
9 p.m. – Party and book signing
Masters of ceremonies will be Garth Stein, author of The Art of Racing in the Rain and Erik Larson, author of In the Garden of Beasts.
The Rejections (and Trailing Spouses) is a Seattle cover band whose members include published authors and authors’ significant others.
Seattle7Writers is a collective of Pacific Northwest authors creating connections between writers, readers, librarians and booksellers to foster and support a passion for the written word. The evening’s featured writers (25 of them!) will include: Jennie Shortridge (Love Water Memory and When She Flew), Stephanie Kallos (Sing Them Home and Broken for You), Peter Mountford (A Young Man’s Guide to Late Capitalism), Frances McCue (The Bled and The Car That Brought You Here Still Runs), and more.
