Though missing a few obvious mentions of people and places such as Garth Stein, Sasquatch Books and a slew of bookstores (it could be fun to fill up the comments with omissions), this Ploughshares magazine Literary Boroughs series tour of Seattle does make for a good pamphlet tour of the literary city. It covers most of the familiar touchtones and also points attention in the direction of some lesser known book-friendly and book-driven entities. Seattle is #47 in the Literary Boroughs series. Portland got the treatment as #36—random order, not to be confused with rankings. Got it, Cleveland. Thanks to Seattle-based Shelf Awareness for sharing.
