How proud I am to be part of Amanda’s family. I’ve gone way beyond proud and am in awe of her! I can relate to every person, place and thing in this book and have read it twice in case there was something I may have missed. Amanda has left a legacy for others to follow. Her niece, Breanna is an avid reader and her nieces Natalie and Paige are “horsey girls” . I followed Talmadge through his travels through North Central Washington and it was exciting to read the names, feel the trees and smells of the orchards from blossom time through harvest and to follow the Columbia River. You’ve done us all proud, Amanda! Thank you!

    Love, Gramma Bev
