Incredible Open Case from The Literary Detective

The Tin House blog doesn’t say when this “Lost & Found” feature first entered their vault, so there’s no telling if Paul Collins is still working this story, but this taste of a true-life boho Forrest Gump creates hope there’s a book project alive in some state. The Portland State prof’s latest is The Murder of the Century: The Gilded Age Crime That Scandalized a City & Sparked the Tabloid Wars.
