Alaska author David Marusek has won the 2010 Endeavor Award for his novel “Mind Over Ship,” published by Tor Books. The Endeavour Award is sponsored by Oregon Science Fiction Conventions, Inc. (OSFCI), a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, and the Award has been made annually for the last twelve years to the author of a distinguished science fiction or fantasy book written by an author who lives and works in OR, WA, ID, AK, British Columbia or the Yukon. Mr. Marusek received $1000 and an Award plaque at a presentation ceremony in Portland earlier this month at Oregon’s major science fiction convention, OryCon.
