Neil Low is a captain in the Seattle Police Department, where he currently works as the Commander of Advanced Training. Somehow, he also finds time to write novels, and has just released his third, a novel of historical police intrigue titled Unreasonable Persuasion. Today, Saturday the 18th, he appeared at Seattle Mystery Bookshop for a signing, and wrote a nice little note on the store’s blog, in which he said “You are a wonderful source for writers and a jewel in the big city that is Seattle.” He’s right, of course, but what kind of jewel? Diamond? Amethyst? Oh, the possibilities.
